Yosemite National Park

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in Central California, Yosemite National Park is a treasure to behold. The park was established in 1890, and although it's not technically the first official national park, it is considered to be central to the creation of the national park system as a whole.

We had the opportunity to first visit Yosemite in the Summer of 2017. We flew into San Francisco Intl. and drove east for about four hours. The drastic changing of landscape on the drive-in alone was enough to fulfill our trip, but what we saw inside the park was truly unlike anything we've seen before.

Majestic waterfalls, sweeping meadows, massive granite cliffs, sequoia groves, crystal clear lakes, wildlife everywhere... It is truly one of the most beautiful places we've been to in our entire lives and we are counting down the minutes until we can get back and see it again

If you plan on staying in the park you have a few options, but we recommend you do it the Wild Acres way and camp! There are a number of campgrounds to choose from, and require a reservation. It's a wonderful experience but make sure you follow the rules and regulations posted! And make sure to grab a bag of our Yosemite roast to complement your trip for those chilly mornings around the campfire!

Yosemite has almost 750,000 Wild Acres to explore! It's one of our favorite places on the planet and should definitely be on your bucket list of places to go.
